Question for Final Fantasy V Advance

How do I get through the Desert of Shifting Sands? Every direction I go it just takes me back to the beginning.

You are not at the right part of the game to go through the desert. Try talking to Cid and Mid. You will have to fight the annoying Sandworm, so tent an' save before you enter the desert.

Follow what tree afro said but to make the sand worm a piece of cake go fight one of the chimera enemies with a blue mage in you're party and let it use aqua something then kill the beast. One hit from the new spell and the sand worm dies
