How do you get a fighter? I can't get it with Marchie for some reason

Get Marche to do 2 A-Ability like speed break and first aid.

Learn two soldier A-Abilities and it should do it.

You just need to teach your soldger 2 abilities and you will then have the option of having a fighter.
