Question for Final Fantasy Tactics Advance

How do you capture certain monsters that you always have zero percent chance of capturing? I just can't get it.

You are not allowed to capture some monsters. You can only capture the ones that give you souls.

There is no possible way to catch them. If you try, it will be a miss all the time.

Certain monsters (like the bosses) are not catchable. If you come across a monster that you think you can catch then try putting it to sleep.
Here is a list of monsters you can catch:
goblin
Red Cap
Jelly
Ice Flan
Cream
Bomb
Grenade
Icedrake
Firewyrm
Thunderdrake
Lamia
Lilith
Antlion
Jawbreaker
Red Panther
coeurl
Malboro

Ahriman
