Does a mission w/ black thread pop up more than once because I have 299 missions done and I need to do the black hat mission. All I keep getting are those tourneys, or clan tournaments, or stuff for the spiritstone.

Black thread can be obtained from these 3 missions:
Mission 208:"Math Is Hard"
Mission 209:"The Witness"
Mission 210:Life or death
See whichever mission you have not done.

Hmmm hate to tell you this but those missions are "once only" missions if you have done them and don't have a Black Thread spare it means you dropped it... Unless you get a friend to trade you their black thread you can't complete the mission or you can spend however many hours doing the whole game again :P (not really an option). The Black Thread is the only item in the game like this every other item can be retrieved again if dropped.
