Does anyone know what the dark matter does? You get it from stealing from Zeromus(last boss) when you have to use the crystal on him. Please can anyone tell me what it does?

It does Nothing in The GBA Version. In the DS Version, You need it to fight a Boss after you beat Zeromus.
