I can't find deist
Its simple, you get there by ship yeah I know I fought the pirates and stuff
And went to east
But I can't find a canal or something to get through:( the sea dies in anyway

Deist is directly east of the snow mountains (Where you go to collect the "Goddess' Bell".
The way to get there is to go directly south of Poft Via ship, there is a small passage zig-zagging in-between Mysidia Land and the huge desert, then just sail south until you're at the top of the map again, and you're there.
