How do you beat Chaos, I can't beat him, I started over, and I don't know if a monk was a good choice, I might start over with fighter, thief, red mage, and monk.

I beat chaos with a knight, ninja, black wizard and white wizard (okay I like the classic group) anyway use the protera spell three times with your white wizard, use your black wizard AND ninja to cast temper and haste on your knight.
Keep focus on your hit points and use healaga to restore them.
It takes awhile but be patient you will get there.
(If you are starting over, take your time and build to level 60 before taking on CHAOS)

I beat him with knights only, but if youre not planing on taking the time to get the rune staff from the octopus dude is the shrines, and train, id scratch a knight and ad a white mage
I beat him with:
File1: white wizerd, knight, red wizerd and ninja.
File2:master, ninja, red wizerd and white wizerd.
File3:black wizerd, ninja, knight and white wizerd.
P.s I like ninjas and red wizerds.
