The canoe doesn't come for a while, so don't worry about it.
Get the eye- Go left of the elf town then up, you will find an abandoned castle, talk to the king, then go to the swamp to the south.
Find the Crown on the bottom floor (don't remember which room, but not the lowest rooms in floor) Next, go back to the abandoned castle and fight the king (really evil).
Then take the magic eye to matoya, go north of cornilea on a peninsula. Go back to the elf castle and give the prince the tonic. The end.
PS - you need to have gotten the ship from the pirate first.
