How do you get the doppelganger out of your way in the Cave of Mysidia in FF2? I have tried everything. Please answer this as soon as possible.

To get rid of the doppledanger you need the white and black mask, the white mask you put on the statue under Mysidia.
That will make the doppledanger stop moving then you put the black mask on the doppledanger and he will disapear.

You must put the white mask you got from the basement in phin on the statue in the town of mysidia down a pair of stairs. That will paralyze the doppelganger. Then when you approach him, use the black mask to destroy him.
