Go to the center left somewhere in town, Eric will say he needs refreshments, go to the house in the right side of town he will say he dropped his ring in the fountain in the rich area. Get the ring, go back to him, talk to him after you regain control, he will give you "his best" and then go back to eric and go back to the man that needs the blindweed
