Orange door? Gohan doors are green. Besides that the second you get to barren watelands you go to fight super buu (in case you don't know where that is it's the ground below where dende's lookout is soposed to be)

I have the same problem before you fight super buu you have a door that only goku can open but you can only play gohan...
