Question for Breath of Fire II

How and when do you get the fly ability, and also how do you get into the Big Trees mind.

There are two ways to fly, both pretty late in the game

POSSIBLE SPOILERS!!!!!!!!!
After a while, you will realise you need to fly to get around to *somewhere* at this, you should go back to windia, there you will need to do a task to get mark of feather or an item like that. Then you will go to sleep, a mina (nina's sis) will take it and turn herself into a bird, from then on, nina's A map abillty will be to call the bird

2nd method:
When you are in the grand church trying to kill starter of St Eva. You will find a man strapped up in a large machine, he will tell you to kill him, what you have to do, (to get 2nd flying method) is to kill all the machine, but him. then go to gunxz (i can't remember name, it's been a while since I've played game) and talk to the mechanic, she will go to town ship.

They will work together and township will fly! This will give you a different ending to the one if you do kill him. Town ship flys about the same speed as gramps the whale

Continue the game normally and after a while, you will need to fly, go to windia, and they will test nina, when she is done, you will get mark of feather. And then mina will take it and turn herself into a bird which you can use

Or:
Continue until your make your way into the great church, when you are chasing the man, you will lose him, when you are searching, you will find a man covered in metal objects, he asks for you to kill him. Kill all the machinery but NOT him, and he will go to your town,
Then go to guntz and find the mechanic, she will go to township and together they will make it fly
(this will give different ending as to if you killed the man)

To get into the big trees mind, you must get the therapy pillow, and get spar, and get spar to talk to the big tree (crazy, but it works) and you will go into his mind, here there will be 3 towns, when he was young, older, and oldest, go to the oldest town and you will have a very bad eyesight, you will have to manuvere around to get to the top where a demon is eating his memory

(i found this part very annoying, so be patient)
