Question for Beyblade G-Revolution

It still don't work for me I put egine gear on but for some reason I keep on pressing a and b and holding but it still work.
Do you know how to help me please?

During the battle,your beyblade has to charge again after the first move is made,so nothing will happen if your beyblade is not charged.
When your beyblade is charged,it will shine,so try it at this moment.
EXTRA INFO:the engine gear does nothing but increase RPM by 300 or so,but why not to use...

Well you have to wait until your beyblade lights up in the middle, just like when you attack. It is a little tricky, the timing has to be exact, but it should work...

Also, Engine gear gives a lot more than 300 rpm... I think it is a level thing, like the higher your level, the more it gives. My engine gear now gives me somewhere around 2000 rpm extra
