Hey I'm new here. The way to recruit kecleon is to deafeat him after shoplifting. Beware he is extremeley powerful. His lick killed my Flygon(152HP)! Most of your attacks do 1HP. The key to killing him is orbs. First you need the two-edge orb & min. 3 reviver seeeds. Use the two edge orb. Then kecleon will attack. With kecleon down to 1HP, any special attack should do it. I haven't tried it yet, but it seems logical enough

Anyway to the point on my brilliant strategy. When soloing in a dungeon have the leader equip the warp band, and just walk around; every few steps he will warp to a different room, and eventually you'll warp into the room with the stairs. It's simplistic mind you, and you still have to worry about traps and enemy pokemon. In fact I wouldn't recommend using this strategy unless you have you can take a lot of damage and have a high I.Q. Level. But when you reach the room with the stairs, just swap the warp band with another band or item and just walk to the area. It can take a while, you have to have good patience, sometimes you may not warp into the stair room, and it may require you to use some thinking, and notice the build of the map, examining the hallways that connect the rooms and seeing which ones you haven't warped in, but all in all it's actually faster than just walking it with a team, and it can reduce damage, bbut keep in mind that you should only use this when soloing as doing it with a team can cause you to seperate from the party and left unable to protect them, unless you are certain they can handle themselves. As a team I recomend a fire type and a elec type but the bad thing about the fire type is that it's not good versus water but when I fought Kyogre(I think he's water type) I beat him because I had good moves and it was only 3 of us and we still beat him! I am Charizard and my partner is Pikachu and we were like level 35. So I recomend you Charmander and Pikachu but with great moves because me and my partner have good moves!

Ok I onlly found this out the other day.
If you want to evolve Pokemon such as onix, scyther, clamperl, porygon etc make sure you have the evolutionary item and a link cabe!!!!! Without the link cable the evolution wont work. I think the link cable is in solar cave level 15 or something. Make sure you check with other forums and hints to make sure this is correct.

To get a new flag at your team base you need to get smeargle (the Pokemon with the tail that looks like a paintbrush) on your team then talk to him he will ask do you want your flag changed say yes then do a mission it don't matter if you win or lose your flag should be changed when you wake up if it is not do another mission then it will be changed.

To recruite the Lati duo you need to first destroy the Meteorite falling to the planet by defeating Raquaza. Then some new friend areas will come. Buy the one called Southern Island which is located at the bottom right of the friend area map in the Southern Isles.
Go to option 2 for the easy way.

Hint Charizard can't fly over water or anything else!(It can't fly)It can wlak across Magma. Then you can either get a flying or water type Pokemon and go to Solar Cave. On floor 20 you will find an area with a HM/TM (this one is a HM)on the floor surrounded by water for this part the leader must be the Water or flying type.Cross the water get HM Surf then get out.Go to step 3

Do a few dungeons and after awhile you wake up early then see a blue f;ash across the screen.Go to Pokemon square with your partner. Now complete the dungeon and beat Latios. Then rescue Latias in the dungeon unlocked after that and Walah they join you.

Make sure your mailbox is empty by one space.

After you beat Raquaza you need to evolve then go to the solar cave fid a key go to the 10 level then un lock the door and you need a water Pokemon to get a cross the water then get the item. Arter you get surf dive waterfall you can go to the firey field then beat entei then go to wiggleytuff look at the info on every place one should be entei's battle him again and he should join your team.

To get gardevoir on your team get past murky cave it has 20 floors she will be in townssquare then she will ask to join say yes but she will be on level 5

Do you know how to get legendarys that are named Latias and Latios at there freind area, well those two fill it up, now how to do it for normal freind areas all you need to do is, get the amount of one Pokemon in evolution number and the freind area number will be full later or mabye soon depending on how far you are in the game, now an number example is the freind area called Mt.Cleft can hold nine Pokemon but only three Pokemon, thanks to all the Pokemon there evolve three times, so that means that you need three of each Pokemon but it's optional to you if you want them to evolve or not, but I suggest that you do for more power, defence, speed, accuracy, special defence, and special attack, along with step hit point regeneration while in a dungeon, now do what the hint says.

Azurill evolves into maril if it has 6 IQ stars (Check summary) The easiest way to do this is to give it normal gummies as they are it's favourite

You Evolve at Wishcashes pond after you defeat Rayquaza but you have to be level 36 or 16 or around there it depends on your pokemon.

You may need an Escape Orb. Go into a dungeon with about 20 floors, and pick up every item you find. If you have run out of space in your Toolbox, stand over the item you want to pick up, press B, select Ground, then choose Switch. Then choose an item from your toolbox to swap with the item on the ground. It is best to choose a berry or a seed, as these are the least important of your items (one exception--don't choose your Reviver Seed if you have one). Bands, Scarves and TMs are worth the most. After them come Orbs. Remember, don't put your Reviver Seed on the floor and exchange it with an Oran Berry!
Either complete the dungeon or use your Escape Orb. Go to Kangaskhan Storage and store all the items that are important and you might need in the future. With the rest of the items, go to the Kecleon Shop and select "Sell All" and Kecleon will make an offer. If the offer is good enough, choose "Yes" and you will get lots of money. Store it in Felicity Bank so you don't lose it.
REPEAT UNTIL YOU HAVE ENOUGH MONEY TO BUY ALL THE FRIEND AREAS AND AS MANY SHOP ITEMS AS YOU PLEASE!!!

Hey! This is for people that just got this game or are in Northern Range or any other dungeon with traps OR for future use.
Here are the traps & their damage rates.:
1.Chestnut Trap:Spiky Chestnut Traps take away 10HP points to any Pokemon that step on this trap.
2.Explosion Trap:When any Explosion Traps "blow-up",they damage each Pokemon within two squares.To each ally it deals damage roughly equal to half of that ally's remaining HP.It deals 80 points of damage to wild pokemon.
3.Gust Trap:A Gust Trap will send you flying in any direction.If you hit a wall or Pokemon, you will take a SMALL amount of damage
4.Mud Trap:Mud Traps knock off all of your basic stats(attack,defence,special attack,special defence)down by one level.

From what I've discovered, these are some of the best starters one can get and why.

Pikachu:This guy is really good because he can use Thunderbolt, really useful for the monster house in Sky Tower because his thunderbolt hits all the Pokemon surrounding him. He makes a pretty good partner.

Cubone: This guy is in my opinion, the best starter by far! He can learn Ice Beam, Flamethrower, Iron tail, lots of other moves that help you out in the main storyline as well! The only bad thing about him is, sadly, he lost the ability to use Swords Dance in this game, so no more Bone Club+Swords Dance+Earthquake anymore. But still he's really good.

Squirtle: Very good defensive moves, most new players should do this guy.

Torchic: Paired up with Squirtle, he does very well because Torchic has good offensive moves while Squirtle has good defensive moves. This guy has a special place in my heart because he was the guy I first completed the game with...(continues reminiscing[spelling]about my times with Torchic......)

The Evolution place is Lumonus cave. Which is at whiscash's pond.(After when you defeat rayquaza,saw the credits and you save, and the next morning you will go to the square and talk to everybody then go to the whiscash pond and talk to whis cash then go to your base then your dungeon then you partner said and you can make your partner in the friends area). Then you can get to be on your own and go in the lumonus cave in the whiscash pond.(WARNING-YOU CAN NOT TURN BACK)and(you need too be alone by yourself.

If you want to evolve your Pokemon then you have to get about half-way through the game. Sorry.

All you have to do to get to Raquayza is just level your leader and partner to at least 30. Also bring Absol at at least 25. I used a Torchic with set move flamethrower and a Pikachu with thunderbolt and/or shock wave. I got through Sky Tower in less than 10 minutes, then beat Raquayza in about 6 turns.
