Change your Gender, Trainer ID or even Trainer Name

Probaly not newly discovered, But I recently have found out not only can you get Pokemon from there, You can change your ID number, Trainer Name, Trainer Gender... All very all simple and easy to do.

Go to a search engine(Google Perferd) search for Pokemon Maker, Go to one of the Pokemon maker website, Instead of hunting up Pokemon simple go to the area were it talks about Trainers ID, Setup a simple number you want, Check the box for it to appear at the top, Then go to the top and make sure you have selected your cheating device type and other needable things. Now press sample to code. Copy both Trainer ID code and Secret Trainer ID code, You enter them in on your GameShark(the correct type remember) and select the two codes plus the master code(again the correct cheating device and master code, Best before putting the codes on make sure the correct master code is listed on the Pokemon maker.) Then once you go into the game check out your IP, It should change to your made up one.

NOTE :: Really good to use against the Lottery.

PS :: I know this works with GameShark version 1... I have done it myself, And it doesn't hurt the game in anyway.
