Ok. Here is a little tip for all of you new trainers to Pokemon FireRed (or your just really bored and decided to start a new game). This is sort of a long tip, but if you are really interested you will read on. Well I am here to tell you who I think would be your best choices as your starter Pokemon and the five other Pokemon you should have in your party. Ok. The starter that I think is probably the best one out of them all would be......Squirtle. Squirtle can easily beat Brock, Blastoise can easily beat Sabrina(have Blastoise learn Bite and give him the darkglasses)and can also beat Giovanni and Blaine. OK. Moving on. MAKE SURE you catch a Pidgey. Once you train it to a Pidgeot it will end up becoming your strongest Pokemon. Next, you should probably have a Geodude to help you out with Lt. Surge. Once you train Geodude to a Graveler, he can be alot of help. Next, you should most definitly (sorry if it is spelled wrong) catch an Oddish. Oddish can be a big help with Misty,and Giovanni. It can also help you as you travel to Cinnabar Island. Next catch a Pikachu. Make sure you look really hard in Viridian Forest for one and train him so he can help with Misty. The last and FINAL Pokemon you should have in your team would be an Abra. You will need an Exp. Share to train this one but hey, he will be really useful come time of the Pokemon League. So here is what your team would look like:

Squirtle

Pidgey

Geodude

Oddish

Pikachu

Abra
