Or, you could check the pokedex, every time you use fly, they move. try to catch them that way. then make sure they can't get away by using stun spore or something else with the same effect. Damage, capture.

you can ultraballs just make sure its hp low and attack and defense low make it sleep or paralized stock many ultraballs before you challenge it save it first i tried this way in other legendary but it work

just be sure that a pokemon with you with mean look has higher speed than Latios or Latias because it flies right away after appearing. but with Wobuffet of any level, latios or latias cant fly away because of its shadow tag ability. also never use fly to its location.

every one thank you for the gameshark codes and tips oh and guys to find latios go to pacifilog use a max repel and go in the water keep surfing with max repel and latios will pop up the first time i did this i got latios for raquaza groudon and kyrogre find them without gameshark for the rest of the legendarys you need an eon ticket or gameshark codes i had to use game shark codes beacause i could not find the eon ticket if someone could help me get celebi and jarachi i would apreciate it thank for the tips and codes guys oh and one other thing i suggest to use the master ball on latios because you can save right before you try to catch other legendarys but not latios thats my suggestion thanks again for the codes and tips

I used Mean Look on Latias with Crobat, then used every ball i had(Reg.,Ultra,Great,Pre.,Timer,Repeat) until Crobat fainted. Then I used Wobbufett and used ultra and timer balls. I caught mine with a timer ball.

OMG! THEY JUST ROAM ANYWHERE! JUST USE A POKEMON LVL 39 and use max repel!!! it actually works!!!! if u dont want to waste time with a lvl 39, just get a pokemon on a high level with abilites or moves like arenatrap, mean look, block, or shadowtag(meanlook and block are pokemon moves. the other two are abilities) then use max repel with it and just use an acro bike and jump in one place. it might take time but i found mines using that way.i prefer latios to latias cuz latios has stronger moves than latias.

if your going to find latios or latias, just make sure you use max repel first, the max repel will repel every pokemon except for latios or latias. thats how i find them.

First you need an Acro Bike(get it from Rydel's bike shop in Mauville City. Then, get a pokemon that has Arena trap, Shadow tag or Mean look. After That, find a spot that is near a building or the end of the route(for me best is Route 110 near the Cycling Road). Now, use Max Repel to repel the weak pokemon and only Latias/Latios will appear. while in the grass use your bike and hold B. if Latios/Latias doesn't appear within 2 minutes, go in the Cycling road(the building) and go out. And bring many cheap balls then bring about 5-10 Timer Balls. It will save you time.

After you beat the PL you will be at ur house and then go downstairs and your mother will ask you what color the pokemon on TV was.If you say red,you will be able to catch latias,if you say blue you can catch latios.( You CAN NOT catch the other lati without using a cheat)Once you see the latias/latios for the first time you can track it on your pokedex. it can be anywhere do not try to fly to that area it will only move.(it moves when you use fly,enter/exit a building or leave you current route.( if you on route 110 and you move to route 111 it will move)You need a pokemon with arena trap or something else that prevents it from running away.you also need a lot of pokeballs( like 50) and 2-5 timer balls.Save before you try to catch it if it faints you cant catch it EVER.So once you find it start throwing poke balls at it and use false swipe once you run out of poke balls and start throwing timerballs at it and if you battled for a long time you should be able to catch it.(note: you can get timer balls in rustboro) this also works on Kyogere and Groudon( not sure about any others though)

I found Latias on my previous copy of Pokemon emerald, and I am currently searching for Latios.
I found Latias outside pacificlog and that's where I found my first Latios.

A easier way is to get a ZUBAT, a GOLBAT or a CROBAT and get it to use MEAN LOOK, it won't escape, so you can weacken it with BITE or CRUNCH.I would recommend FALSE SWIPE because it leaves the target POKEMON on it's last HEALTH POINT (HP) then keep throwing POKEBALLS, ULTRA BALLS would be the best, but you can just experiment!
