When you have beaten the game once the music player will be available for selection in 'Extra' at the 'Main' menu.
Unlock Dragon's Den:
In the World of Ruin youm must defeat the 8 Dragons. The dungeon is found North-West of the world map.
Unlock Soul Shrine:
You must successfully clear the Dragon's Den and have beaten the game. This secret dungeon is found at one of the small islands North of Mobliz.

Unlock Bestiary:
To unlock the Bestiary under the 'Extra' option at the Main menu you have to 'Save' the game once.
Unlock Music Player:
To unlock the Music Player under the 'Extra' option at the Main menu you must complete the game.
