Zeromus and level booster
Level Booster
You know once you have defeated the Giant of Babel, you have access to switch characters? Leave Palom (#1 black mage in the game) and take Rydia. Put Rosa (#1 white mage) at the hall of prayers too. Also take Yang, Cecil and Edge. So now you have in order going down,
Cecil
Rydia
Edge
Porom
Yang
Now try to K'O one of your front row characters or petrify him. For every character in battle (alive and healthy of petrification) the EXP gained from foes is lessened. So now you should get 2500 more exp than usual after defeating gold dragons. Keep this up and fight until you get an average of 20 levels worth in total of your party characters excluding the K'O, Petrify one. By that time, if you started with about lvl 55 with each character, than Palom should have gained an average of 10 levels and so will have Rosa. Any member not currently in the party also recieves about half the gained xp from battle. Zeromus. There are 2 perfect ways to fight him.
1
Cecil
Palom
Edge
Rosa
Yang
Have Cecil do nothing. Palom uses Bluff
Edge uses Steal until you get 1 Dark Matter
Rosa will Shell and Haste the entire party. Use Shell about 3 times on the entire party.
Yang will just defend.
Once you get a dark matter, use Cecil's Crystal from the inventory.
Now the battle begins.
Have Edge throw any Fuma Shuriken or the Knife if you have it. Cecil should attack once every 3 turns. After Cecil attacks, have him heal.
Rosa should just Curaga(ja) whenever anyone in the party hp's is 500 below.
Just repeat everything, using Shell or Haste whenever he uses Black Hole.
When he uses Big Bang, start healing. Just have Palom Uses Flare or Meteor every round. When Zeromus hp is low, he uses Curaga but it only heals about 2000 hp. A single attack should compensate
