Directions on the left side of the colons refer to D-Pad directions. We assume
you are on the left side of the ring, by the way.
~ A : Throw a right punch.
~ B : Throw a left punch.
~ Left : Move left.
~ Right : Move right.
~ Down : Duck.
~ Up + A : Throw a right uppercut.
~ Up + B : Throw a left uppercut.
~ Down + A : Throw a low right punch.
~ Down + B : Throw a low left punch.
~ Left + A : Throw a left cross.
~ Right + B : Throw a right jab.
~ Down + Left + A : Throw a low left cross.
~ Down + Right + B: Throw a low right jab.
~ A + B : Block head-on/uppercut blows.
~ A + B + Down : Block head-on/low blows.
~ Start : Pause the game; allows you to quit.

Playing the Game - Before
-------------------------
At the title screen, you have four options from which to choose:
- 1 Player Match, an exhibition match against the AI.
- 2 Player Match, where you link GameBoys to play against another human.
- Begin Career, where you begin the career mode.
- Resume Career, where you return to the career mode via passwords.
Assuming you play either of the exhibition modes, you'll get to choose the
fighters you play with - and against, if in one-player. Be very considerate
of the stats the game details in the meters!
If you begin a career mode, you'll give various changes to your fighter: name,
head, skin, then the stats. After confirming the name, you can go through the
final five options (head, skin, power, speed, stamina) by using Up/Down on the
D-Pad and cycling through the choices with Left/Right. Note that the stats do
require a minor level of balance or you'll lose a lot in the other stats!
Press the Start Button to proceed to get a password.
THEN you get to select your opponent, and you must play them all in career.
Like in the exhibition matches, be considerate of fighter stats.

Playing the Game - During
-------------------------
Most matches consists of twelve rounds (look at top-left) consisting each of
three minutes (timer is in top-right). During that time, your goal is to punch
the crap out of your opponent as much as possible. You want to get rid of all
their health (bottom) before they get rid of yours. A simple concept, no?
Matches lasting longer than twelve rounds are usually decided based on
score, which is factored from punch accuracy and health mostly.
Sometimes, the opponent will get up after losing all of their supposed health.
That's actually stamina - your opponent won't always get up, but often will.
This goes down both as you miss hits and are hit. The health bar behind the
health, when emptied, will make the opponent stay down. >:)
As time goes on, stamina recharges, though true health usually won't.
This is especially true in-between rounds, where there is often a large refill
in stamina. Also between rounds, you see the various stats, such as punches
landed, thrown, percentages, and scores.
When the match is over, you'll see the scorecard for the match and other
associated details, then you get to move on to the next match if possible in
career, or return to the title screen from an exhibition match.
