1.) Introduction
===================

Howdy and welcome to my guide for Marble Madness. Marble Madness was a fun
Arcade game way back in the 80's. That spawned a port to the NES, and after
that, there have been several ports of the game, including the one on the
Gameboy Color. Basically, all you do in Marble Madness is guide your marble
through 6 different levels, each with a different obstacle and a time limit.
Reaching the finish line nets you bonus points, depending on how much time is
left. I'll guide you through each level.

3.) Title Screen
===================

Once you push Start, you'll come across three options on the main menu: Play,
Options, and Demo. Pushing left will bring you to the game, while pushing up
will bring you to the Option menu, and pushing right will bring you to a small
demo version of the game.

There's no much to mess around in the options screen. You can choose to adjust
the following:

Music

Sound

Control - This lets you change the controls from a 90 degree feel to a 45
degree feel. The 45 degree one is pretty much the controls almost in reverse.

===================
4.) Walkthrough
===================

Everytime you complete a level, you'll get bonus points depending on how much
time is left. If you have 32 seconds left when you cross the finish line, then
you'll get 3200 points. You also get 1 point as you keep rolling your marble.

=========
Level 1
=========

-From the start, head down the right until you reach the end. Now go left and
continue going left and then down once you find a concaved area. Navigate your
marble through it carefully, as it's pretty easy to fall off the edges here.
You have to go through three of these things before getting to the end.

=========
Level 2
=========

-Make your way down the slope. You'll find a black marble that moves here.
It tries to knock you off, so quickly dodge it and go down the slope here. At
the split, take the right path and get past the green slinky type enemies and
you'll find a bridge that moves up and down. Wait until the bridge is down and
then cross it. Ignore the slope going down and take the path above it and go
down the funnel. Once oyu're down, cross the bumpy here and take the path to
find another funnel. Now go left and cross the green type area, staying to
the right side. Once you're out, cross the finish line.

=========
Level 3
=========

-There's pretty much only one path you can take here, so take it and navigate
yourself between the walls and turns until you find a slope. Go down it and
avoid the green slinky enemies as you wind down the path. You'll now find acid
piles moving back and forth here. It's a pain waiting for an opening since
you're on a time limit, so quickly scan the area and find the best possible
route to take. Go down the funnel at the end and go down the next two slopes
and you'll find an area that has green slopes moving to the right. Take that
path and quickly get to the other end and go along the passage way to the left
once you reach the end. Once at the bottom of that slope, go right to find the
finish line.

=========
Level 4
=========

-Like the previous level, you pretty much only have one way to go at the start.
Once the level starts, go down along the skinny passage and drop down at the
end. Now go down the slope and follow the path, ignoring the vacuums that come
out of the ground until you reach a slanted area. Take it to reach the
platform on your right and follow the path here to find a red object. Get on
it and it'll launch you across the screen. Go down the slope here and you'll
find some poles that come out of the ground two at a time. Continue down and
once you reach the third set of those poles, go as fast as you can to the right
to jump the gap and keep going. Turn left once you reach the end and jump over
the next gap and follow the path to the right, then left and then right again
to reach the finish line.

=========
Level 5
=========

-There are two paths you can take here. Take the left path and go up the next
two slopes that are going to the right. At the top of the second one, turn and
go ip the next two slopes and then once you're at the top of the second one
here, go right and up the slope into a large area. Avoid the enemies here and
keep heading up to find a funnel. Take the left path and make your way across
the slopes here until you find a huge one going up. Take it and keep going
to the right and follow the path as it bends left. Avoid the next set of
enemies while going left, then right. Keep going and go up the slope once you
come across it. At the top, go left and down the next slope and continue going
left once you reach the bottom of that slope. At the end, go right and you'll
find the finish line.

=========
Level 6
=========

-From the start, head left and then right so you reach the higher part of the
area. Go to the right as fast as you can and drop off the ledge into a hole on
the next platform. You'll arrive out the other end. Continue along past the
blue blocks and down the next slope you come across. Go across the red area
here to the right and down the next concaved area. You'll reach some more blue
blocks. Remember that you can't change directions while in them, so position
yourself at the top point and go straight south to reach the end safely.
Continue along to the left and once you're far enough, you'll find some blocks
that disappear from time to time. This is the most annoying part of the stage
and it's all about timing. Carefully wait and navigate your way through the
next set of paths until you reach the finish line.

That's it. That's the end of the game.
