While I do write all of my guides for free, it does take a lot of time and
effort to put them together. If you're feeling generous and want to show your
appreciation, I am gladly accepting donations. I don't know exactly what the
donations will be used for, but just know that you would definitely be helping
me make more quality FAQs! Even the smallest donation amounts are appreciated,
and are a great way to say how much you appreciate the work I do. If you do
decide you'd like to donate, please send the donations through PayPal at the
e-mail address listed below. Thank you so very much for considering this!!

By the way, this is also my contact e-mail, so if you want to contribute
something to this or any of my other FAQs, or have a question to ask about one
of them, go ahead and use this e-mail.

Welcome to another FAQ of mine. This one covers the GameBoy game Go! Go! Tank,
a game in which co-operation is key, much like with the modern game for the
PlayStation 2, The Adventures of Cookie and Cream. (At least, I think that was
its name.) Anyhow, this game is quite a good game, despite the fact that no one
has written an FAQ (before me) for it in many years.

Yeah, I don't know much to say about this. But try to enjoy.

----------------
Playing the Game
----------------

The goal of the game is to get the tank at the start of the level to its end.
The tank moves mostly on its own; however, blocks can get in its way. You'll
need to run your plane's hook into them to move them aside and either out of
the way, or where they can be used to further help you.

If your tank ends up hitting stuff too high for it to go over, not only will it
turn around until such happens, but it will also lose some health, as per the
top-right gauge. If it empties entirely, game over.

You, who control the plane, will end up losing a life if you get hit with a
projectile from something or hit an object.

Two-player mode is the same as the above entirely, except it's a competition to
get to the finish first.

For once, I'll employ a more bulleted type of walkthrough, for I'll just need
to describe the basics to you.

=======================
Level 1 - The Mountains
=======================

-- Go right to a block atop a pyramid-esque staircase. Grab it.

-- While holding it, go right to a large black uprising. Put the block there.

-- Go right and take down the green cube. Put it left of its platform.

-- Take the nearby flat block and lay it left of the green cube.

-- At the double-stack of green blocks, grab one. Lay it down somewhere else.

-- From the previous part, take the green cube on the right. Dispose of it
   somewhere else.

-- Go right some more to another cube. Take it right and put it ALMOST next to
   the tower. Not next to it, but where the tank can climb up onto the block,
   then into the gap to touch the tower's base.

-- Get rid of the doubled up cubes nearby, then defeat the cannons on the tower
   and wait for the tank to come on.

=======================
Level 2 - The Mountains
=======================

-- Go right and low. See the tall block? Grab it. Take it right to the black
   uprising and land it nearby.

-- Repeat with the small block it was next to to make a staircase of sorts.

-- Defeat the cannon on the other side now.

-- To the right are some tall and short blocks. Use the tall, thin one to let
   the tank up the uprising to the left.

-- Use the cube to start letting the tank up the next black uprising. Kill the
   cannon on it.

-- Find a small block (one tile high) to complete the tank's stairs.

-- To the right, get rid of the three cube blocks. Take the tall thin one to
   the uprising on the right. Lay the flat block nearby next to it.

-- Grab a cube from earlier and go right. See that high stack of flat blocks?
   Lay the cube in the gap to the left, then take a flat block off the top.

-- Dispose of it somehow and go right to find the goal. Dispose of the cannons
   on it while waiting for the Tank.

=====================
Level 3 - The Islands
=====================

-- Go right and, as you do, you'll notice a jagged staircase. Take some blocks
   to the right of it (two smaller ones) and use it to make stairs in the
   second- and third-to-last gaps.

-- Remember the block stash to the right of the stairs? Make sure it is able to
   be crossed with the tank by moving them around if needed.

-- Kill the cannons to the right of the block stash.

-- To the right, you'll see a two-tile-high block. Move it into the first gap
   of the "staircase", then take away the top block of the two-block stack.

-- Lay this block next to the next high uprising. Get a two-tile block and a
   flat block and lay them next to it to make a staircase to the uprising.

-- Then get a two-tile block and put it in the gap before the next high
   uprising.

-- The goal should be to the right of there.

=====================
Level 4 - The Islands
=====================

-- Go right to find two flat blocks on a platform. Place one next to it on the
   ground on the right, and one next to the next platform on the right.

-- Defeat the cannon nearby.

-- Go right to another flat block. Grab one and go back left to where the tank
   will probably get stuck between two platforms. Place the block next to the
   platform on the right.

-- Go right to find a bunch of blocks. Take a block from the left three-block
   platform and put it in the gap to the right of said stack.

-- Grab the tall narrow block to the right and take it right to a platform.
   Use a flat block and a cube to finish this "staircase" to the platform.

-- On the platform are two flat blocks. Take one away, and repeat this with
   the tall narrow block on the next platform. However take this tall narrow
   block right and into the gap between two platforms.

-- Kill the cannon nearby.

-- Get a flat block from before and use it with the tall narrow block to make a
   staircase.

-- Place the cube nearby in the gap to the left.

-- The goal is to the right.

====================
Level 5 - The Forest
====================

-- Go right. Put the cube to the left and in the lower area. Take one of the
   two flat blocks nearby and put it next to it to make a staircase.

-- Go to the right and find a cube. Place it left to and next to the top of the
   black staircase; place the other flat block next to it.

-- Kill the cannon nearby, then take a flat block and put it next to the ledge
   on the right.

-- Use some flat blocks or small cubes to finish this "staircase".

-- Soon, after killing another cannon, you'll notice two cubes on the ground.
   Move the one on the right left and into the gap.

-- Now, kill the cannon nearby. Take the right cube and place it next to the
   next uprising; place a flat block next to it to finish the staircase.

-- The goal is to the right.

====================
Level 6 - The Forest
====================

-- See that stack of three cubes to the right? To the right of it are three
   gaps for them. Fill them in FROM RIGHT TO LEFT. Also kill the local cannon.

-- To the right of there are more cubes. Move them away from here by going to
   the right. See that long gap? Put all but one in there. Put one in the gap
   left of the staircase.

-- Make sure the staircase can be crossed with the tank; fix if needed.

-- To the right, kill the cannon. Then use the flat blocks to make the tank
   able to cross the cubes.

-- To the right ... is the goal.

==================
Level 7 - The City
==================

-- Go down and look at the flat blocks. Take one and put it next to the tall
   narrow block so it's crossable; the flat block has to be the leftmost one.

-- Go right to the cube and tall narrow block. Place the cube in the gap next
   to the ledge on the left, then place the tall narrow block next to it so
   the tank can cross up and right.

-- Kill the cannon to the right.

-- Go right and pick up the leftmost flat block. See that raised bit to the
   right of this platform? Place the block half-on, half-off of it.

-- Kill the nearby cannon. Move a cube into the gap on the left, and the
   other someplace else.

-- Now, up ahead, are some staircase-like arrangements. You'll notice that one
   has a gap in the top. Ignore this and continue to the lower-right side of
   it. Remove the cube and the tank will be able to proceed to the goal to the
   right of here.

==================
Level 8 - The City
==================

-- To the right, you'll see some very high uprisings. You want to move some
   flat blocks on them so that they're half-on, half-off (to the right). Then
   move one more flat block to the left of the first uprising to let the tank
   go through. Filling in the gaps is also an option.

-- Go right and kill the cannon.

-- Next, you'll see a two-tile gap in the platforms. You can either use the
   flat block nearby and put it half-on, half-off a platform for the tank, or
   ignore the flat block and move the tall narrow block aside.

-- Go right and kill two more cannons.

-- Now, see that flat block on the platform? Place it half-on, half-off of the
   green block left of said platform, or place it right on top of it and bring
   another flat block to make a viable staircase.

-- Now, use a block to block the tank; we'll need some time for this bit. At
   gap atop the stairs, you'll see a two-tile wide gap. You can either fill it
   to the top (or one tile short/too much), or place a flat block half-on,
   half-off of the gap. Remove the block impeding the tank when done.

-- Go right and kill another cannon.

-- Near this cannon are two cubes. Take one and place it into the gap left of
   the platform the cube itself is on. Take the other and put it into the gap
   to the right of the platform.

-- To the right ... you'll find the goal.

======================
Level 9 - The Fortress
======================

-- Go right and kill the cannon.

-- Now, go right to find a cube. If you've paid attention to the tank's track,
   you'll notice it'll pass over a bump on the way. Drop the cube on the left
   side of the bump, making a viable staircase. However, the tank MUST be on
   the right side of the bump!!

-- Next, see that bump on the next platform for the tank? Get another cube and
   place it on its right side ... AFTER the tank is on the left side.

-- Now, see where the staircase drops off and makes a loop? Find a block (won't
   matter as long as it's two tiles wide) and place it half-on, half-off of the
   staircase or desired landing part. You can also just fill in the gap.

-- Kill the nearby cannon.

-- Go right to find a cube and a flat block nearby, near the edge of a
   platform. Take the cube and place it left of the cube in the block pile.
   Use the flat block and place it in the gap to the right of the platform.
   Take the leftmost flat block of the pile and put it next to your cube.
   (Note that placing the first cube so that there is a one-tile seperation
    between it and the other one is a viable replacement for this step.)

-- Go right and kill the cannon.

-- Now, take the rightmost cube from the block pile. Place it in the pit next
   to the staircase.

-- As for the cube atop the staircase, move it right so that it half-on,
   half-off the next platform, covering the gap.

-- Go right and move the next impeding cube in the gap next to the cannon. By
   the way, kill the cannon.

-- Remember the cube that already near the cannon? Move it into the gap left
   of the tall narrow block.

-- The goal is to the right. Phew!

=======================
Level 10 - The Fortress
=======================

To avoid trouble with keeping up with the tank, I highly suggest that you skip
the first step and complete the rest of course, THEN let the tank be able to
move forward. With a moderate amount of skill, you'll be unlucky if you lose
much more than 50% of the tank's health.

-- As you go right, you'll start noticing some blocks. Eventually, to the
   right, the tank can go no further. See that cube nearby? Remember the first
   three blocks you passed - the small cube, and the two tall blocks? Move them
   next to the cube, but left and into the gap. Use the cube as a buffer when
   dropping the first block. Remember to make a viable staircase.

-- Next, kill the cannon nearby.

-- Get the buffering cube you used earlier and place it into the gap to the
   right of the cannon between the platforms. Then take a flat block and put it
   half-on, half-off the cube so as to make a viable path to the other side.

-- Further to the right, kill the cannon.

-- See that gap nearby? Take a flat block and place it left of the staircase.

-- Now, for the block pit on the right... That's best done with an image.
   This here is what I used to FINALLY get across. "G" indicates a green block
   whereas "#" is the black walls. This thing IS to scale; each three
   characters up/down and left/right equals one tile; the black squares on the
   right side of this "screenshot" are one tile.

-- After this, you'll find two gaps on a bridge. You'll need to place two flat
   bricks, one per gap, half-on and half-off, so as to make a viable bridge.

-- To the right of there, you'll notice some tall narrow blocks. Move them next
   to the wall so as to keep them out of the tank's way. Then move the impeding
   flat block to the right out of the way if it's still there.

-- The goal will be to the right.
