Question for The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages

Hello, I desperatly need help climbing the restoration wall I don't know how to get to it I can see part of it but I need EXACT directions can you please post the EXACT directions.

On the west side of Symmerty Village go one screen down then keep going left and the play the tune of currents on the bottom left corner of the screen. Go wherever you can to find a time portal and play the tune of echoes to open the time portal and go to the past. Go into the cave and get to the end and you will find a red stone. Push it to the left then go back to the other side of the cave.

If you want a bomb upgrade then continue at step#1. If you do not want it then skip the step#2.

1. Warp to the present and climb the vine. Things aren't flooded anymore. Throw a bomb into the water and walk up between the to knights. A fairy will apear and ask what kind of bomb you threw into the water. Answer "a normal one"

2. In the past, push the vine sprout to the other cliff. Go to the present and climb the vine. Swim across the flood and get to the end to find a time portal and warp to the past. Go to the flood and swim across the GO DOWN THE STAIRS. Continue on and you will find Patch
