Question for The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages

How do you get through the black tower when you have got the third essence?

When I reach the top all I find is 3 doors leading to nowhere!

It does not matter if you only have 3 essences, when you have all 8 you will get the maku seed. Then the three doors become 1...
