The Legend of Zelda: Links Awakening DX Questions

How do you get the flippers or get to the top of the mountain? And knowiing where to get the magnifying glass would be useful too.

To get the Magnifying Glass, you have to complete the tradimg quest, which is the following:
!. Win the Yoshi Doll at the Trendy Game
2. Trade the Doll to the woman with the baby to get a Ribbon.
3. Trade the Ribbon to the little dog in the doghouse to get a Can.
4. Trade the Can to the crocodile guy at the beach to get some Bananas.
5. Give the Bananas to the monkey. He will build a bridge and you will get a Stick.
6. Give the Stick to guy by the beehive and you will get the Honeycomb.
7. Trade the Honeycomb to the bear in Animal Village for a Pineapple.
8. Trade the Pineapple to the man lost in the mountains for a Flower.
9. Give the Flower to the goat in Animal Village for a Letter.
10. Deliver the letter to Mr. Write to get a Broom.
11. Give the Broom to the old woman to get a Fishhook.
12. Give the Fishhook to the fisherman under the bridge to get a Necklace.
13. Give the Necklace to the Mermaid to get a Scale.
14. Put the Scale in the Mermaid Statue to get the Magnifying Glass.
15. With the Magnifying Glass, bomb open the cave on the beach and trade your Shovel to the Goriya inside for the Boomerang.

As for the Flippers, you get them in Level 4: Angler's Tunnel. You will not be able to complete the entire trading quest until you get the Flippers.
