i cannot get passed lv 1 tail cave

I've beaten the mini boss but I can't find my way to the end of that cave? Help

ANSWERS

After defeating the mini-boss, head north 2 screens and do NOT go down the stairs. If you fall off the ledge during the boss fight, the boss recovers. So, to complete Tail Cave you must:

1) NOT go downstairs
2) Defeat boss WITHOUT falling off the ledge.

After getting the Roc's Feather, head to the eastern part of the dungeon, and find a room that has two Stalfos and a door on the east side surrounded by a pit. Use the Feather to jump over the pit and go through the door to find the mini boss. Jump over the spiked log he rolls and hit him with the sword, then repeat until he dies. Head two screens north to face Moldorm. Hit him in the tail four times without getting knocked off the platform. If you do get knocked off, take the stairs back up but be aware that it regains its health when you fall.
