Once you defeat the Elite 4, you can go into the cave at Cerulean City. Mewtwo is in there, right at the end of the cave, and at Level 70. You can catch him. Then all you have to do is work on your Pokedex

No it works. I got it on blue i learned of it too late on yellow. Its the one with tge guy to the lefte of nugget bridge, and u teleport to cerulean then u battle the kid with slowpoke between nugget and bills house. It works with every other trainer therr. Theres a laprss, and nido queen, nidoran female, gengar, scyther, and i frgt the other ones

Pokemon is, in the end, a sandbox game. It just continues forever. You can do whatever you want.
Most people who continue playing the game after defeating the Elite Four will try to complete their Pokedex. You'll either have to use codes, which can be found elsewhere on this site, or trade with other players to get some of the Pokemon.
Mewtwo can be found in the cave near Cerulean City.
Articuno can be found on the island between mainland Fuscia City and Cinnabar Island.
Zapdos can be found at the Power Plant near Rock Tunnel (go north of the Cerulean Entrance to Rock Tunnel, use Surf on the water, and go around it.
Moltres is found somewhere in Victory Road, the cave that you had to go through right before the Elite Four.

What I did was catch all the 3 birds before the league, and used only Articuno, but once I beat them, I went and caught Mewtwo in the Cerulean Cave. Mewtwo now replaced my Kadabra in the main party.

Actually, the only things you can do is to catch mewtwo an beat the E-4 again and again :P

You can actually catch Ho-Oh. It probably isnt the Ho-Oh you are looking for tho. It is a glitch pokemon. Ho-Oh was meant to be in the game so that being said MissingNo is in a rough sense the data of Ho-Oh

Well if you haven't you can catch mewtwo at cerulean cave because before only the champion could enter.You could catch the legendary birds: Articuno, Moltres and Zapdos then continue filling up the pokedex. Then just beat the Elite 4 and catch mewtwo again and again ;).

I happened to beat Gary and the 4 teams end game, then after credits shown I can't manage to keep going, it start everything from zero.
Can anyone tell me whats happening ?

wait for the credits to end... when the game restarts it will have the "continue" option and as well as the new game, options etc options

Well you can go to Cerulean Cave to catch Mewtwo (north of cerulean city) catch the 3 birds(articuno is found on seafoam island, moltres is in victory road before indigo plateau, and zappos is in the power plant by the north entrance to the rock cave) or you can complete the pokedex. You can also play the casino game if you're bored.
