BEFORE fighting Misty get an abra.Beat the 5(actully 6)trainers on the bridge. The person in the grass near the bridge, battle him.First save may, take awile.Don't actually fight him though. After that [!] press start and teleport to the POKE center.THEN YOU CAN'T ACCESS THE PAUSE MENU you can try,but it will not work.Defeat one ONLY ONE trainer in the gym quickly! Then go to the bridge with the 5/6 trainers. The pause menu ill pop up.Close it and then you will encounter a LV.10 mew. Also bring lots,LOTS of Pokemon balls. This will be hard. P.S. You owe me BIG TIME!

^To Shadowraptor; I had actually beaten Misty before I did this. You need:
A) A Pokemon that knows Teleport
B) Alot of Pokeballs
C) Possably potions. 1.Go to Celadon City with an Abra or anything that knows fly or teleport.

2.Beat the trainers on Nugget Bridge. Then follow the edge of the water. When the grass comes into veiw SAVE. (Just incase you miss the timing. Dont worry, I did.)

3. Walk towards the grass. Ass soon as you see the trainer, press start and get abra to take you back to Celadon, the "!" Should appear just before you teleport. (Note: The start menu, A and B wont work)

4.Now, walk back to the top of the Nugget Bridge. And go to the kid who has a lvl 17 Slowpoke, make sure there is space between you both or your game will freeze. (I went through Nugget bringe and the first 3 trainers here before I started)

5. Battle him and beat him. Now start going back towards the bridge. You start menu will pop up. Press B and you will end up in a battle with no other then Mew! (Mine was Lvl 7)

6. Mew only knows Pound so it should be that hard.

There are a few ways of getting Mew, even if you have beaten the kid with the Slowpoke on Route 25...
