Once you've removed Snorlax, go in Diglett's Hole from Vermilion to Pewter City and head due south when you come out.

Just fly there with a a Pokemon that know's the HM move fly.

Go through diglett cave and cut through the tree and you can get to pewter city then just go down through viridian to pallet town.
