Don't forget ditto here cause you will want one to Trade to g/s/c so you can breed and get the annoying baby Pokemon in your dex in gen2 easily , hell you can get a shiny ditto if you let a ditto transform into a shiny Mew that is also using transform for 3 turns prior to pature , must use a masterball , I'm pretty sure you need it to just use transform and you just use tansform and it will be shiny in g/s/c , it would of trandformed to mimic shiny mews shinyable evs which actually make it appear shiny in g/s/c .. , when you have the key , beat Blaine with something that has earthquake/surf/rock slide and literally I would go to te safariz zone after that and catch a few rare Pokemon like dragonair and train it at all the sea routes , the cinibar mansion the dark cve , anywhere you can to get it level 45 or you for Giovanni , and by the way when you have beaten koga and gotten hm03/hm04 from the Safari zone , you can get both Zapdos and Articuno if you have something to make them sleep or parylised , low hp , froze or paralysed means you will catch them in like 3 balls maybe less , but I mean like 1 or 5 hp left so you cannot attack again , use the save game feature before you try to battle em , and good luck, I would recommend catching muk or weezing as they can learn cool moves like thunderbolt, flamethrower if you can trade it to crystal on Thursday or Saturday , it learns hyper beam , and their was an event weezing with the attacks I just said and psychic , and it had no hyper beam it had sludge instead , so it can legally get fire blast , thunder , I'm pretty sure it learns blizzard in gen1 aswell , muk is a bit more attack based then weezing and can learn some physical moves he can't like body slam or counter but weezing has these op movesets and supr mad defence , if you playing 2player and are doing a non psychic clause (cause the player with psy types always wins and their too strong to be fairly used in 2player red version) then using a weezing with thunder/bolt fireblast/flamethrower depending on if you can get the move tutor in crystal and trade back , blizzard and sludge , you can get that without an event , I'm sure it's his best bet , or you can take blizzard or sludge for toix and or smokescreen as a staller , I think weezings great tbh
