Question for Pokemon Gold

I have 4 badges.

What do I do now?

I need to get surf to get the medicines to help the pokemon so I can battle the gym leader there.

I am confused.

Go to the dance theater in Ecruteak and beat all 5 kimono girls. Then talk to the guy and he'll give you the surf HM.

Then go to Cianwood and get the medicine/beat the gym leader.

Hey! To get the Surf HM, go back to Ecruteak City. There will be a dance hall. Battle all of the Trainers in there(They have level 17 Pokemon) and a guy there will give you the Surf HM.

Then just teach it to someone and surf south of Olivine until you see land. Then you'll see some shop and he'll give you an item. Then go to the gym and beat Chuck using Flying/Psychic Pokemon.

After beating him, His wife outside the gym will give you HM 02, Fly. Teach it to someone and fly to Olivine.Give Jasmine the item you got and then you can battle her.

When you have defeated Morty, you have to go to the building above the Pokemon center in Ecrutaek. There are five trainers in here called the Kimono Girls. Each one battles with an Eevee evolution.

When you have defeated all of them, talk to the man with the Rhydon in the crowd. He will give you Surf.

Then take the route to the left of Ecrutaek and follow it to Olivine City. Once there, enter the lighthouse (located in the east) and climb to the top and talk to Jasmine who is with Amphy the sick Amphoros.

She will tell you to go to Cianwood City to collect the Secretpotion.

Go to the south of Olivine City and surf down into the water until you can see 4 islands, turn left at these islands and you will appear in Cianwood City. Locate the house in the south and get the Secretpotion from the pharmasist.

Defeat Chuck the Cianwood City gym leader, and his wife will give you HM02 Fly. Fly back to Olivine and talk to Jasmine at the top of the lighthouse again.

She will give the medicine to Amphy and return to the gym. Beat her to get the Mineral Badge.

To get Surf, go to the Ecruteak Dance Theatre and defeat all five Kimono Girls. When you do, talk to the guy with the Rhydon and he will give you HM03 (Surf). You must have the Ecruteak Gym Badge to use it outside of battle.
