Question for Pokemon Gold

Anyone know how to get in the cave in blackthorn city?The man in front said I can't go in unless I'm a dragon user.What should I do?

Ohh yea......im playin in silver version

You have to beat the blackthorn city gym leader.

You have to beat the gym leader and I would recommend using electric and dragon type Pokemon against her.

You need to beat Clare the gym lead in that town. She'll tell you to go in the cave and the man lets you in.
