Just keep looking for them until the first time you see them. If you are unsuccessful in catching it the first time then you can find where it is in your pokedex.

Get some super repel and get a Pokemon over level 40 then walk around in the grass you think that one of the legendary dogs are in
Hope this helps :D

My advice is not to worry about them. Occasionally, you will be searching for other Pokemon and the legendary dogs will appear. If you really want them though, I suggest searching around Violet, Eucratack (I don't know how to spell this one, sorry), and Goldenrod.

this iz very hard i suggest that u buy some max repels and then get a pokemon in your party holding quick claw and with an attack that makes the enemy not run away e.g. mean look also getlots and lots ov great balls as they r the 2nd best ball.

1. go to large grass area
2. use max repel and put pokemon with quick claw and the move in 1st place
3. walk around till one ov the 3 dogs apear
4. use meen look then do whatever u can 2 catch it

P.S u need 2 go to the burnt tower 1st and release them in the wild GOOD LUCK!!!

Get 3 masterballs by duplicating them then get a lot of super repels or max repels. Also have a level 39 Pokemon in your first position of the party. Use a repel when your on the route west of Ecruteak City. Walk through the long, narrow patch of grass, near the sailor, to the end and back. If you don't find any of them go back through the entrance on the east side of the route leading to Ecruteak City then go back to the route (you do this to change the area of the pokemon). It may take a while to get them all but I did catch all of them. The thing about this technique is you don't need to have already seen them.
P.S. Don't forget to use another repel when the other one runs out!

Once I was trading with a friend to evolve a Pokemon and then trade it back, and he used a sucuine, so after I was done, I looked at my pokedex and I had sucuines info on it and I looked at the area to find him and I noticed that everytime you go onto a new route or a new town, it would be in a different place but it only changes to about four places in the first map, your best bet is to go to the town directly south of Lake of rage, and in that first patch of grass, near the top left of the town, look for him, and if you don't find him after a little while, walk out of the town and walk back in, look again. Thats what I did and I found him, so good luck it will probably take an hour.
