1. Go to the Power Plant and talk to the manager. As soon as you leave, the security guard will ask you to help out.

2. Go to Cerulean City and talk to the man outside the Cerulean City Gym as well as the a few other people, and tey will tell you where to find the crook.

Go up Route 24 and you will battle the crook, who obviously thinks Team Rocket is still together.

Defeat him and he wil tell you where to find the Machine Part. It's in the pool in the middle of the Cerulean Gym.

3. Recover the Machine Part and give it to the Power Plant Manager. He will give you TM07 (Zap Cannon).

4. Go to the Lavender Radio Tower and talk to its manager. He will give you the Expn Card, which can be used to tune into Kanto radio programmes.

Then, go east of Vermilion City and set the radio to the Poké Flute. Press A in front of the Snorlax to place the radio beside it, and it will wake up and attack.

Defeat or capture it (it's at level 50) and you will gain access to Diglett's Cave. Go out the other end and you will end up in Pewter City.

5. Continue down Routes 2, 1, and 22 to reach Cinnabar Island.

Getting to these two cities is easy but long to do. You must go to the Power Plant in Cerulean City and then go talk to the manager.

After you try leaving, someone gets a phone call and then you can go. Go to the gym and then go to Nugget Bridge and beat the foreign Rocket.

Go back to the gym and look in the middle pool and press A. You will find missing generator part. Return it to PP then go to Lavender Town and into the Radio Tower.

Talk to the director and he'll give you card. Now go to Vermillion City and go to where the Snorlax is.

Find the PokeFlute radio station, press A, battle the snorlax, make your way through Diglett Tunnel and now you are by Pewter.

Look at your map and find Pewter. Then go to Pallet Town and surf south to the PokeCenter. Talk to Blue by the water.

Then go to the Seafoam Cave and battle Blaine, as Cinnebar Island no longer exists as a gym.

Get past Snorlax and go north for Pewter and south for Cinnabar.
