1.Is it Possible to catch a legendary Pokemon without a master ball? 2.Ive Tried to find succiune but if I go to where he is at he ends up somewhere else.Help? 3. I want to get a gangar and my haunter is 52 I figuered he would have evolved by now? 4. What is the diffrence between all the Pokemon games why do they have so many? 1. Yes it is possible. You would need to weaken the Pokemon greatly though.
2. It's an random encounter. You need to get lucky.

4. It's all a different story. You can't have the same pokemon. Also the show normally continues before the game comes out. So the game follows the show.

Okay, I will give you answers to your questions in order:
1. Yes, it is possible to catch a legendary Pokemon without a master ball, but it's extremely difficult. I suggest getting a least 70 or so Ultraballs when you go after a legendary, and inflicting some kind of status condition on it, like sleep, or paralysis, or frozen. DON'T poison it, because while you are trying to catch it, it will whittle away it's health until the Pokemon faints. And ALWAYS save right in front of the legendary before you battle it, so if you DO accidently knock it out, you can reset the game and try again.
2. Yes, Suicune will run constantly from you whenever you attempt to track him down. The only thing you can do is constantly keep chasing him until he stays in one spot for a little bit longer than normal, and try to get him. Trying to catch Suicune, Entei, and Raikou is a pain in the butt, and I seriously don't think all three of them are worth the trouble everyone puts into getting them. They really aren't THAT strong. 2. The only way to evolve a Haunter is to trade it to another game. You will have to get a friend of yours that has Pokemon Silver, Gold, and Crystal, and you will have to trade your Haunter to them. He will evolve into Gengar, because Haunter only evolves if he's traded. Then, simply trade him back, and you will have your Gengar. But all friendship levels you had with him will be gone. 4. The difference between the Pokemon games is that they have different regions, and different Pokemon in each one. The purpose of having so many games is to make it possible to 'catch 'em all'. For example, there are certain Pokemon on Pokemon Firered you can't get on Leafgreen, so you would have both games to get all the pokemon. I hope this helped.

2. You just need to keep trying. Eventually he'll be somewhere and you go there and he'll still be there and you'll battle him.
3. You must trade haunter with another game to get him to evolve into a Gengar.
