Legendary Dogs

I have been searching Johto for 2 days trying to find a legendary dog but I have had no luck. Where are the common areas for any of the dogs and does anyone have any other helpful suggestions?

After you first see the dogs in that cave their locations will appear on the map which is found in your pokegear. It takes time but at least your know their approximate location.

Go to the burning tower in Ecruteak. Encounter the dogs...
When they escaped, Good luck! They're near Mahogany town... You need to do the duplication technique if you want to catch it successfully.

Emm....
I believe you should already meet the 3 legendary dog (entei, suicune, raikou)in ecruteak city.
What I can say it's really based on your luck, because I meet 3 of them with (tpyhlosion on Lv58 with the speed of 128 for suicune, and pikachu Lv 50 with the speed of 102 for raikou, and houndoom Lv58 with the spee of 118 for entei) in johto map, and makesure they are your 1st place pokemon.
