Daylight savings

I started a game on Pokemon crystal about a month ago but never got anywhere in it, I got my first Pokemon and delivered the egg to elm but my brother borrowed my gameboy for a little while and I've started playing again from my saved game.

The problem is that now daylight savings time has changed, I went to my mum to change it in my game but she says "i've lost the instructions for the pokegear" or something like that, so I can't change it in the game.

What do I do to change it?

Did you ask her to save money? I do, and maybe you have to go a bit farther, also if you go back to talk to her you have to say no when she asks you if it's about the money... If you get that question at all..
