Question for Pokemon Crystal

How do I get my egg to hatch faster? Somone told me to use 0101fadc, but it didn't work.

I'm sure I typed it in correctly, and I know its activated... but nothing happens.

Actually, this seems to happen with every code I use. Can somone help?

Don't use cheat codes. I screwed up my game with them.

My advice is to ride your bike.

I've been serching the web and I read my guide book 2 times and riding your bike triples the speed of
egg hatching.

You really can't do that, but sometimes I got an egg when it said it is making sounds it will soon hatch.

By the way most pokemon crystal codes should start with 91...
