Question for Pokemon Crystal

I'm stuck! I need to get into Mt. Silver, but in that reception area by Victory Road there is a guy blocking the way. He says, "This way leads to Mt. Silver. You'll see scary strong pokemon..........". Do I go back to Johto?? I defeated Elite Four already.

You need to get the 16 badges before you can go to Mt. Silver.

Go and beat every gym in kanto and talk to oak he will grant you accses to mt.silver

You go to olivine city,and get on the S.S.Anne I think. Then you'll go to Vermillion city. Go and get 8 more badges.To get to Mt.Silver.

Defeat all the Gym Leaders in Kanto. Then go to Pallet Town and talk to Prof. Oak. You can go to Mt.Silver now.

Get the 8 badges from the Kanto region after you defeat the Elite Four. Then go to Prof. Oak, and he'll make arrangements for you to go to Mt. Silver.

Hey dude check my answer: defeat all gym leaders in Kanto and collect badges. After that go to Pallet town and talk to Prof. Oak. After your POKEDEX is rated go to reception area...the guy is gone already. Hope I'm a help!
