gogobananas answered:

You must put a male and female of the type of Pokemon you want to breed (or a female and ditto) in a day care and eventually you will get an egg

johnkrill answered:

Put the Pokemon in the daycare center.

Lurch5000 answered:

Go to the person who gets the pokemons lvls up. Then put two of the same species of Pokemon in(male and female obviously). And leave them for a while. Then go back and the man will talk about an egg. Keep it with you and it will eventualy hatch to a lvl 5 pokemon.

Kristen answered:

Well, to put in a fine point no one else has cared to mention (not that I'm critisizing, you see), if said person who asked the question doesn't HAVE, i.e., two Umbreons, or two Feraligators, or two Typholsions - Pokemon you can only get once per game, naturally and without breeding or trading - you have to have a Ditto.

Ditto is easily obtainable, mostly in level 10's, right outside said Daycare Center. What I do is I just leave it (I say 'it' because Ditto has no actual gender) in the Daycare Center and when I need a baby Pokemon I just leave the Momma/Poppa in the Daycare Center with Ditto.

Blech. Now I feel all... Teacher-ish. o_O - Kristen

darkboarder_77 answered:

Leave either two Pokemon of the same DNA group together of opposite gender in the Daycare center, or leave a Pokemon and a ditto in the Daycare center. You have to walk a few hundred or a few thousand steps to make the Pokemon produce an egg, depending on what Pokemon you are breeding. Certain Pokemon, such as Porygon, Porygon 2, Magnemite, Magneton, Voltorb, Electrode, and Legendary Pokemon will not breed.

Zelda Fan answered:

Get a female and a male Pokemon and put them both in the daycare. They must be the same Pokemon though.

CrystalTitan1 answered:

I agree with Kristen completly, but Kristen did forget one important fact. Some Pokemon in the games will only ever be one gender, like Hitmonchan will only ever be male, or Chansey a female.
Now I'm not calling you wrong Kristen, merely that you forgot that one little fact, however somewhat irrelivant it may be.
(And on a further note, I like Kristen, Kristen doesn't let the morons like Zelda Fan run the net (on a side, side note, if you're "Zelda" Fan, then stick to Zelda and leave the Pokemon to us true Pokemaniacs, okay? Keep your idiotic advice to yourself.).)
