If the Egg is in the PC Storage, access the PC in any Pokemon Center and place the Egg into your Party.

If your receiving an Egg as a Gift, you must have an empty slot in your Party in order to receive it.

Okay. First off, If your party is Full (All 6 Pokemon) then you will have to go to your PC and deposit a Pokemon. Once you have deposited the Pokemon then return to where the Egg will be received. Either from the Daycare couple or from the Togepi thing, it's been a while since I played Crystal but either way. Once you get back to the spot where you are going to receive said egg, simply say yes and the Egg will automatically appear in your group. From there move it like you would a Pokemon to change the order and put the Egg up front. For a faster Hatch. Also you might want to grab a Fire Pokemon and put it in the second slot of your party. This will allow the Egg to hatch more quickly, sometimes. Also if you have a Bicycle you can climb on it and ride around to gain steps to hatch the Egg a little more quickly. Most Eggs range from 7,500 - 15,000 steps to hatch. I know it seems like a Lot but it's not, not really, especially when you're on your Bike.
