If you go to the day care man he will give you an egg. The egg contains smoochum

Nope it's not true. The day care man will give you an odd egg and what you get is all up to fate. The Pokemon obtained might be either: smoochum or elekid or cleffa or igglybuff or tyrogue. You may try catching a jynx and breed it with ditto
