Question for Pokemon Crystal

when I went to the patch of grass where Smeargle are all I found where about 300 Natu's? Does it appear in certain times of the day or night?

Try playing the Unown music when looking for the Smeargle. Sometimes that will help you to find Smeargle.

It appears anytime but keep at it. Eventually you'll find one.

Get a Missingo on crystal it will turn into Smeargle.

It only appers in day time so look like crazy and play the lucky channel for more of them to pop out on you it also increases the chance of being shiny.
