when i get to the boss in silph co. my game freezes up why?

It sounds like something is wrong with your game. You might have to buy a new game.

I hope you already got your answer, you asked long enough ago, but here's what I did:

Same thing happened to me, but in a rom on an emulator, so it definitely was NOT the cartridge. Nothing else worked until I used the "Walk through walls" glitch (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nfumn28lC0M). This allows you to ignore Giovanni (sorry, no Masterball for you or me!), then use it to skip passed the guard standing in front of the Saffron gym and get in.

A couple of notes:
1) Do NOT, as the video suggests, go with only one Pokemon. Instead, fill up with your full crew to fight Sabrina (Gym) six.
2) At least one of the six has to know FLY.
3) Before you start any part of this, make sure to heal your Pokemon at the Poke Center in Saffron City
4) Go around and let all your Pokemon but one of them die (I just found some tough opponents and kept playing the Poke Flute while they beat me up. Did that until 5 of my 6 guys were dead.
5) Fly to Pewter city and go fight a Weedle until your last guy is Poisoned.
6) Fly back to Fuschia and do like the video says (above)
7) After that whole thing, once you can walk through walls and you die while walking around in the Safari entrance house, you should spawn in Saffron again (if you followed step 3). Go walk through the guard, and your in.

Also, you get one shot at that gym, since you can't leave and come back. Once you enter a door while you can walk on walls, that's it, no more walking on walls for you. So come prepared with good Pokemon and potions.

Hello I have the same problem with my virtual console, I guess this is happening because I overused the Mew glitch to encounter more Pokemon in the silph.co building. I will use the walk through walls glitch to pass the Saffron City gym but I still need the master ball that giovani gives you, I heard recently something about the 8f glitch I think to use it so I can deposit a master ball to my pc and then after this glitch is finished to take the master ball from my pc and multiply it with the missingno glitch....is that possible? Because I heard that this last one is very dangerous to colapse my game, any ideas?
