Question for Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone

I still can't find the presents peeves stole. I was told they are in filches offices but I can't find them.

Is that the answer to the first clue about reading. HELP!!

It starts off in the dorm with harry and ron with their presents. Peves appears and takes the presents so you set off to find them.

Go to the exit to gryffindor common room and there is a note saying you shoul catch up on your reading.

Go to the table with a newspaper on and stand at the top facing the paper and press a. You are then told that 6 is a lucky number.

Then go to the sixth floor and through the door on the right side that is closest to the stairs. go through this corridor and you will end up in a storage area.

Go to the left side of the two white chests that are agaist the right wall and press a roughly in the middle of the two chests while facing them.
