To get the Ice Key first you must have gotten an Armyant then go back to Greatlog and give the Merchant by all of the boxes under the Vault the Armyant and he will find the Ice Key and give it to you.

To get the ice key you must have befriended a madgopher and give it to you're dad acrrossed the bridge on the farm and the madgoher will dig up the key.
You can give a MadGopher(Pirate World) to your Dad -OR- give an ArmyAnt(Pirate World) to a new merchant that is at the left of the merchants bridge and south of the Vault. After giving MadGopher/ArmyAnt, give the other to Dad/Merchant to get a TinyMedal.
