LARVITAR: larvitar can be found in mt.silver at level 20, don't worry though he may take a while to get there he evolves at level 30 to pupitar and at level 55 into tyranitar. Tyranitar is almost indestructable even at level 80 and could probably take on Lugia when lugias at level 100 and tyranitar is at level 85.

SKARMORY: can be found at route 45 and has excelent spcl aatk + spcl def and is pretty offensive too.

CHICORITA: I found him in the wild outside of the town that you begin in and he was level 4 and new solarbeam. I'm not joking this really happend!!!

The best places to find the three legendary dogs are at route 35,37,38,and 39.

Ampharos(from flaafy and mareep)

Lapras(no evolve founded in cave between azaela and violet city)


Cloning glitch

Here is the cloning glitch!
1.Save in front of the PC in a poke center.
2. Depoisit a Pokemon in a box.
3.Change box. When it says saving do not turn off... Then turn off as quickly as you can.
4.load your game from where you begun.
5.Now you have cloed your pokemon!

(you can do same thing with items suck as master balls and rare candies just put them on the Pokemon and clone the Pokemon make sure to follow all the 5 steps correctly or it won't work)

How to get the HMs

FLASH- defeat the last man in sprout tower and he will give it to you
CUT- get it from the man in the forest(one after bugsys gym) after you've got his farfetch'd to him.
SURF- defeat all the dancing girls in eruteak city and a man in that building will give it to you
STRENGTH- a man in one of the houses in olvine city will give you it
WHIRLPOOL- help lance defeat team rocket in mahogany town and he will give you it
WATERFALL- you'll find this in the ice path

Schoolboy allan he gives you fire stones he is at route 36
Lass dana she gives you a thunder stone she is at route 38
Picknicker gina she gives you a leaf stone she is at route 34
Fisher tully he gives you a water stone he is at route 42

If you have trouble going to dragon den in blackthorn city and are not able to trade any since you have to have a dragon Pokemon to go inside you can use fly and come to goldenrod city's radio tower it will be captured by rockets go in fight with all then go to under ground path go to the right and go in fight and take a card key from director who is deep inside and come back to the radio tower and go to 3rd floor and open the door which is closed and defeat all then the director comesd and gives you a rainbow wing with which you can go to tin tower deep inside where you can find dragonair

After you go threw kanto falls go where all the cooltrainers are and battle them ask them for their phone #s and battle the wild Pokemon there. This spot is for Pokemon lv 32 and up.

To get apiom you must first know the folloing moves cut surf and headbut.surf to jhoto falls and use cut where you see a box of trees then use headbut on one of the trees. It may take a while.you find apiom at level 10.he is hard to catch so have many pokeballs

If you breed a red garyados with a normal garydos you get a normal magikarp not a gold magikarp

I know this isnt great but when you get to cinnabar. I think you have to battle garry but anyway when you're finished with him I can't remember is it invisible or not but look behind the mountain thing and you will find a rare candy. Hope it helps and if it works will you pleeeeeaaaase rate it.

To get a pichu you will have breed 2 pikachu(male and female) at the daycare center near Goldenrod city.Come back in a few minutes and the old guy will be standing outside.If you talk to him he will give you an egg. When the egg hatches it you will have a pichu!

One way to heal your Pokemon is by putting them in the pc.instead of going to the Pokemon center.

If you Surf in Lake Rage (just North of Mahogany City), you can find and catch a Shiny Red Gyarados.

If you at a place that has strong Pokemon and you want to train a weak Pokemon, put the weak Pokemon at the top of your party and put exp.share on it than get in a battle. To rasie your Pokemon faster you NEED a rare candy. Give (as in hold) it to a pokemon. Now, save infront of a PC.Deposit the Pokemon with a rare candy in a box.Switch boxes. When it says Saving Don't Turn Off The Po... Quickly turn off the power.

If you did it correctly, you should have one in you party with a rare candy and one in the PC with a rare candy. Withdraw the one in the PC. Save. Now put both of them in the same box.Switch boxes. When it says Saving Don't Turn Off The Po... Quickly turn off the power.

If you did it correctly, you should have TWO in you party with rare candys and TWO in the PC with rare candys. Keep on doing this (maximun; 5 pokemon) until you have a disired number of rare candys(keep on taking the rare candies and realeaseing(spelling?) the pokemon).Keep on giving( as in level up) your pokemon.

An easy way 2 beat the gym leader in goldenrod city is to get a drowzee and trade with the guy in the store and have him as your first Pokemon then use your own poke mon 2 finish her!! He he he.

To catch the beasts, first go to Ectuteak city, go in the Pokemon centre and come out go down until you see the first patch of grass and check your pokedex to see if any of them are there if not repeat the prosses until they appear then use a max reppel and try your best to catch them.

It is possible to beat Red at level 56 just make sure you have a water Pokemon who knows surf a fire Pokemon who knows fire blast a rock or earth Pokemon who knows magnatude a electric who knows zap cannon and a couple of hyper potions and you can beat him it was quite easy for me.

Having trouble with catching Pokemon well allyou need to do is hold A+B and point the direction that the pokeball is moving, this hint isnt guarrateed a catch but may may increase your chance

This isn't a cheat or really a hint but it is some funny stuff.If you put a water Pokemon Ex(tentacreul lapras etc.) in the daycare it will look like it's surfing on land.if you put a fish Pokemon Ex(remoraid goldeen etc.) it will somewhat look as if it's dying of the lack of water.if you put a grass Pokemon Ex(bayleef oddish etc.) it will look as if it's watching an exercise video.

This requires Red or Blue versions. Use the Missingno. Cheat and Use and Duplicate Rare Candies(use it to level 50-60), items that boost your stats, and the best Tms. Then trade it with a trading cord or Pokemon Staduim 2 but requires game paks. This only uses 1st Generation pokemon.

Hiya, all gamers out there. Do you have trouble pressing those damn underground warehouse switches in the correct order? In that case, you are NOT alone. I can tell you how to get through this area with the closing/opening shutters with incredible speed:
Press switch 3 first (It's the one furthest from the stairs)
Press switch 2 after switch 3 (The one in the middle)
Press switch 1 after switch 3 and 2 (The one closest to the stairs) and you can get through!!.
Now wasn't that easy? Of course it was, hehe!

There have been many cheats about this but this is the CORRECT way to clone Pokemon and Items..

There is 2 ways to do this, the first and easiest way is to give the Item to a Pokemon and clone the Pokemon so you will have 2 of the Pokemon holding the same Item.The second way is to go to your PC (exp.: SILVER's PC)and deposit the Item and do the same thing you did to the Pokemon....

Hey guy, I have discovered a really cool way to beat the last gym without gameshark, without tradeing, or without attempting to train you Pokemon high, and just hoping they'll win. When you get to the last town, where the last gym is, go down the mountain, and whenever you are allowed to split into 2 different directions, go to the right. Eventually, you will come to this little pond by itself. When you see the pond, it is time to go fishing:=-) you can catch a dratini there. Now train it up, get a dragonair, and either train it up some more, or just train it up until it learns at least one or two dragon moves, and one ice move. Now, the last gym leader is toast:=-) that one Pokemon could single-handedly win you the last gym badge.i have done this, and I now have every single one of the sixteen badges. Don't worry when I say sixteen, I mean that once you get this ;last badge, you will go over to the old cities that were from blue,yellow,red, you know, those cities. Ok l8r:=-)

This cheat also helps you copy items.

First if you want to copy items put it on the Pokemon you want to duplicate then save in front of youre PC. Access your PC and deposite the Pokemon into it.

Then switch to an empty box.

While it is saying Saving Please Do Not Turn Off Your Power! Turn off the power. You should have The Pokemon you deposited in youre party and in the box.

Warning! Don't try to copy more than one at a time. You might lose both pokemon.

Don't spend your time looking for him because he's not there in gold and silver.
