An easier way of getting your Pokemon to evolve is have the Pokemon you want to evolve first. When you start a battle change Pokemon to your stronest pokemon. When you make your enemy faint and asks to change Pokemon press on yes and go back to the Pokemon you want to evolve and so on. Sooner or later he will evolve.

So if you do the missingno glitch you wont get infinate anything! I got a bunch of nuggets and I sold them all. But you will know if you have a lot of stuff. Just be sure there's some kind of symbol in front of the number of what you have.

Put the fossil of your choice (or old amber) into the 6th position and do the Missingno. Glitch and you should be able to deposit lots of fossils and have lots of Onamytes and things like that.

Sorry if this hint has already been submitted but I didn't see it. If you are in desperate need of 10 coins for the game corner but don't have enough money to buy 50 coins or have talked to all the people and have gotten all of the 10 coins from them, here's how you can get an extra 10 coins. Walk into the game corner in Celadon City and as soon as you walk in you see a table on the right and another table on the left. Go to the table just past that and you should see a nerd. Get directly behind him. Walk up exactly 2 steps and face up so that you're one seat below the lady but stay in the isle. Walk down one step and press "A" and it should say that you found 10 coins!

Do not make the same mistake I did. When using the Mew glitch I thought to myself "what if I fight the person I fly away from" I did and then I couldnt do anything and had to turn off the game scrapping 40 levels of hard labour training a Mew and 20 levels harder labour training scyther. So I warn you don't attempt to foght the person that you fly away from because nothing will happen and youre stuck like that forever!!!

Of all the starters I think that the best is Charmander. I say this because it has the highest Attack power ,which is the most important stat, and when it is a Charizard it is best for type advantages or disadvantages. As well as this it learns the best moves like slash, fire blast, rage...

Dont get infinite rare candies using the duplicator. If you use them then your squads stats will be wrecked. I used them on my Mewtwo, it's about as strong as a level 80

If at the start of the game you catch a Nidoran then train it at the same rate as your starter, use the misingno cheat to give it tonnes of Hp Ups, Protein, Calcium and all that, teach it Earthquake, Horndrill, surf and strength then evolve it into Nidoking/Nidoqueen you have an absolutely awsome pokemon. I did it and cleared the whole of sliph co with just that.

Hey you can catch Missingo I did it and my game is fine he will have hp at 208 and his attak is abot 488 or so it's really cool the only bad thing about it is his delence is very low so you may want to boost up his defance

Pretty pointless hint, but it can apply to other blocked entrances in Pokemon blue, red, and yellow, such as getting onto the bike route without a bike. You must have surf for this to work.

What you do is position yourself right above the sailor guy blocking the entrance to the ss anne after it has sailed away. Walk one step to the left, so that you are diagonallly left of the sailor. then, take one step right and IMMEDIATELY press start. Save the game and reset.

Now, for reasons unknown the game programmers for the old Pokemon games set your character to always position downwards as default when you start the game. However, because you save immediately after stepping right, the game becomes confused.

Now after you reset, you should be facing right. If not, try again. Now, use surf, but instead of going right, where the water is, surf downwards, and you will pass straight through the sailor and into the SS Anne Dock. The SS Anne will still be there!

Okay, heres the truth about Missingno., and the whole debate about how it's levels and what Pokemon appearing with missingno happen.

Firstly, the idea that the Pokemon you encounter on the east side of Cinnabar are dependant on the Pokemon you encounter elsewhere is mainly false. Although there is no way to prove it is false, the real truth is that the Pokemon you encounter there, as well as their levels are dependant on your players NAME. I've read on other websites that the 2nd, 4th, and 6th characters in your name determine level, while the 3rd, 5th, and 7th determine the pokemon. There is a lot of evidence to support this and from what I've seen this conclusion was made after a LOT of experimenting.


Although it's hard to remember, if the second character in your player name is a question mark, and your third is a lower case q, you will encounter a level 245 Mewtwo at cinnabar.... the reason the name affects the Pokemon is because the characters in your name are made up of hex codes, which are also shared by every Pokemon in the game. Each character in your name holds a value equal to the value of a pokemon.

Im sure if you use a search engine you will find a list of what names create what pokemon.

So, you know how to do the infinite cheat. The Pokemon you find on the E. Side if Cinnebar depend on where you last were/ the area of the Pokemon you last battled(wild). You really don't get infinite anything, but it goes into the hundreds. You just can't see how many hundreds you have. The Missingno's you find range from 0-12, and 50-250 in lvl.

DON'T CATCH THEM! They ruin your game. You can catch any other "super" Pokemon, like lvl 250 snorlax, but as soon as they get into a battle, they go straite to lv 100, no matter how low the EX. Tthey can get you pretty far into the pokeleague, like I once got all the way to lance w/ just a lvl100 golbat, and got 2 hiz last poke (dragonite) and we got into a struggle battle.

If you want to catch Pokemon without all the walking just go to the area they are found walk in the grass then fly to cinnabar and surf on the coast to the right of the gym.

Note: This is very similar to the missingno cheat but without the viridian guy.
I caught many rare Pokemon this way like chansey or kangaskhan from the safari zone.

Here's the Mew Glitch:

Stand in front of the entrance to the Celadon City-Lavender Town Underground Path. (You're on Route 8, which is west of Lavender)

Save the game. Step down and press "START" really fast. If he saw you, reset. Go to "POKéMON" and use Fly. Fly to the town where Misty is the Gym Leader. Go up Nugget Bridge. Go the way to Bill's house and battle the Youngster with a level 17 Slowpoke. (Make sure he walks to you or the game will freeze)

After beating him, Fly to Lavender (the Start button brings up the Menu now)

Walk west of Lavender and your Menu will pop-up. Press the "B" button. Mew will appear. He is level seve. Enjoy.

To get Missingno. And other high level Pokémon depending on your name talk to the guy in Viridian City (the one who has just had his coffee) and watch him catch the Weedle. Fly to Cinnabar Island and Surf along the east coast until you encounter a Pokémon. It will most likely be Missingno. (beware of 'M!) but it might be a really high level Pokémon (over level 100) depending on your name.

The only Pokemon you can get that isn't in the original pokedex is mew. Togipi, snubull Ho - Oh or any cross breed of a Pokemon such as Venatoise ( venasaur and blastoise) don't exist Mew is the only one it is the 151st Pokemon and then tahts it for this game there are n more Pokemon and missingno. Is not a Pokemon he is a glitch don't catch it as it will eventually mess your game up

Dont waste your time trying to figure out the relevence of the van beside the S.S Anne, it has no relevence there is no way to move it and there are no Pokemon underneath it many people have spent many hours trying to fgure out it's purpose and all have failed because it has none.

If you catch Missingo do not put him in your pc if you do he will send a bad virus through your game and all the Pokemon and characters look like a weird box

After you use a repel save the game then turn it off.Then when you turn it back on the repel would have run out already.Sorry this is not a good hint but this is my first hint and yall took all the good hints.

Wanna hear a strange one!
Ride on a bike and fall on a black square (availabe in Seafoam Islands and Victory Road) the you will still hear the music.

OK. This will only work in red/blue/yellow. Well the Mew trick is good, but the problem is you only get one Mew per game. I found a second. It's al in cerulean city so you DO NOT need fly. MAKE SURE YOUR LAST POKEMON CENTER USED WAS IN CERULEAN.

DO NOT BATTLE:
1.swimmer(in cerulean gym).
2.TRAINER(cooltrainerboy) next to nugget bridge.
Now go to the grass patch next to the nugget bridge. DON'T BATTLE THE TRAINER. Capture an abra. Now go right above him so he's not in the picture and save. (play it safe).

Now do the Mew trick.(take 1 step down, while in mid-step hit start, go to pokemon>abra and use teleport) Ok now your start doesn't work. Go into the gym and fight the swimmer only. Destroy her/him/it. Now go up nugget bridge again and voila.

There's a second Mew just for you!

When you first turn on the game it's will say GAMEBOY
While it's forming the word GAMEBOY press B and any of the direction and it will have different colors

I think you need to get Exp. Points Exactly or same number of defense, speed, and attack.
One time I have Charizard Lv25 and Rhydon Lv39 and Dragonite Lv30. It works though.

1. Catch a Pikachu from Viridian Forest
2. Then buy a Thunderstone from Celadon City and use it!
3. Then fly to Cinnibar Island and go to lab where the old coot wants a Raichu.
4. Trade it
5. You get a Level 3 or 5 Electrode

It also works on FireRed and LeafGreen and Red too!

1. Get a Tauros from Safari Zone.
2. Fly to Pallet Town
3. Then Try Saving your game when it says Saving... Turn it off and turn it on.
4. Then fly to Saffron city then talk to the little girl inside Mr. Psychic's House.
5. Tah-Dah you made it the barnyard.

On Pokemon Red and Blue, you can warp into a glich city with 9s scattered all over the place and you can walk on only about 14 steps everywhere.

You start by going into the Safari Zone. Then, when you have 386 steps left, fly out of it. Go to Viridian City.

Walk around until the PA says you have to go. Then, go out the front doors and you will appear in Glich City.

To get almost infinate items, go to viridian city and talk to the old man who was in the way to viridian forest.

Then fly to cinnabar island surf on the far right, right next to land until you see the black battle thing go counter clockwise (make sure the itemyyo want to duplecate is the sixth in the bag) then you will fight a virus named missingo. Don't catch it or else it will start over your game, fight it and your item will be duplicated.

This hint is probably the only cheat in the game it's quite simple really 1st you need HM2 (fly) and HM3 (surf) fly to that town near pallet town and put what ever it is that you want to duplicate in the 6th position on the items.

Next talk that man about his coffee and he'll ask if you if you want to see how to catch a Pokemon next fly to that island under pallet town and surf up and down the right side of the island right next to the island then after a while you will get into a battle and it will be a Pokemon called Missingo DONT CATCH IT!!!

Run away from it and you will get alot of what you had in your 6th position. (Id recommend using it on a rare candy and the master ball) note: the cheat only works with1 item on the 6th position.

To get glitch city you have to have hm 2 fly,go to the safari zone and go in go back out he will ask you "leaving early"say no, walk back in and save, and then shut it off turn it back on walk out he'll ask you if you want to join the hunt say no, fly to cinnabar and swim on the right side until he says you're safari time is up come out you will be in glitch city.

Here's a hint: to get infinite free Safari Zone steps you must save right when you get inside it.It will be completly free of charge, and when you run out of steps and your trying to get to the end because you want HM03 Surf, or to catch Tauros or Chansey, (very rare Pokemon that you can only catch in the Safari Zone) you can start turn it off to retry.

Everyone who has just started the the game I've completed it before and I have advise to tell.
1. In Viridian forrest walk around till you find a pikachu try your hardest to catch it!
2. Try to train hard for the Pokemon league, e.g. Find a fire(Lorelia), grass(gary blastoise/rhydon),phychic(agatha), electric(gary blastoise/pigeot), rock(Lance) and an ice(Lance) pokemon.
3. Your Pokemon need to be strong e.g. To beat the league aroung level 60 each.
4. Heres my team:
Electrobuzz lvl 64 moves: Thunder, Thunderpunch, Thunderbolt and Mega punch.
Venasaur lvl 67 moves: Solarbeam, Razor leaf, Cut and Body Slam.
Moltres lvl 71 moves: Fire blast, Fire spin, fly, wing attack.
Dugtrio lvl 98 moves: Dig, Earthquake, Fissure, Avalanche.
Articuno lvl 100 moves: Fly, Surf, Ice beam, Blizzard.
Mewtwo lvl 100 moves: Substitute, Strength, Phychic, Mystery Power.

Talk to the man in Vermilion City which say are you in a hurry say no and he will show you something then fly to Cinnabar City and surf half land half water.... then you will encounter him it will make your sixth item the level that virus is.......

DONT TRY TO CAPTURE IT IT IS A VIRUS IT MAY RECK UP YOUR GAME.........if you are lucky you may meet squartle golduck snorelax and other Pokemon over lever 100.

This kinda applies to Red as well, but no matter what you do with the rare Pokemon in the Safari Zone: don't bother with Bait or Rock as more than likely about 90% chance that they will run away.

First walk or fly to the 2 city. Then talk to the guy who hadnt had his coffee. He will ask you are you in a hurry anwer no. After he done fly to cinnabar island and surf on the right side of the island in till you see m and the 6th item be multiped

To have Tough and Harsh PKMN, do the Missingno. Cheat. Duplicate the Best Tms, all the items that boost your stats, and Rare Candies. Use all 3 on the best PKMN but for the rare candies, put it to level 50-60 and use the ultimate Tm's on them. There you go, Harsh and Tough Pokemon.

Go to the cave with Mewtwo then exit. Fly to city two and talk to the guy who says he just had his coffee get him to show you how to catch pokemon. Then fly to the Cinnabar and surf the right coast. You will find missingnos, golbats, dittos, and a couple other Pokemon, but you have about a 5% chance of finding a mewtwo from lv. 110-150. Hope you have fun with this.

First you need a Pokemon with sing and an abra and a very strong guy too. After you get to city number three heal your Pokemon then go to nugget bridge battle Gary and all the other trainers up until the rocket grunt.

After you beat him, heal your Pokemon again. Make sure you don't fight the guy in the grass near there or the youngster with the slowpoke. Go to the guy in the grass, press start as soon as he sees you. You must be as far away from him as possible when he spots you. Select abra and use teleport.

Then walk to the kid with the slowpoke. Stay at least two steps away from him. When he spots you he will walk to you. Battle him and win then use teleport again. Finaly walk up nugget bridge again and boom, there's mew.
