If you perform the following when you start a one or two player game you will be able to max out the power meter for the character. At the 'Character' selection screen press Up, Up, Up, Down, Down, Down, and Select. Then at the 'Power Management' screen press Up, Up, Up, Select.
If you hold 'Down' + 'Select' + 'Start' and press A at the 'Finish Blow' selection screen you will be given 255 continues instead of 3.
