Free Battle Axe
To get a free Battle Axe at the start of the game have Myron who is your 4th party member at that point enter his 'Item' menu and de-equip his weapon (Battle Axe). When you resume control of the game after a fight you will discover that Myron will now be your 5th party member and that your inventory has an extra Battle Axe. At this point of the game the Battle Axe is an advanced weapon and a valuable alternative to grinding.
